EVENT PARTICIPANT TERMS & CONDITIONS

By ordering a ticket, accepting an invitation to, or otherwise attending an in-person, virtual, or any other type of event (the “Event”) organized by The Garage Entertainment Limited d/b/a Business of Creativity (“BoC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the Event attendee (“you” or “your”) accepts and agrees to the Event terms and conditions set forth herein, including our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference) and our Terms of Use. These terms and conditions may be modified or supplemented by BoC in writing (email to be sufficient).

1. TICKET & INVITATION

A. By purchasing or accepting a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and your registered delegates. Upon accepting your order or invitation, we’ll email you a written confirmation (or our ticketing system will). Please keep a printed or digital copy for your records. Additionally, you agree that tickets are strictly non-refundable once purchased, except as otherwise explicitly set out in these terms.

B. Tickets are sold strictly for corporate and business networking purposes, and all information provided is for information purposes only.

C. Attendees must present valid government-issued photo identification matching the registered ticket name upon arrival. Badges must be worn prominently at all times within the venue. Badges are non-transferable once scanned on-site.

D. Tickets and invitations are issued exclusively to the designated recipient and cannot be resold, offered as promotional prizes, or transferred to third parties without express written authorization from BoC.

E. BoC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets. Valid tickets and matching photo identification must be presented in good condition to gain entry. Once an attendee leaves the Event venue, re-entry using the same ticket is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by BoC.

2. ADMISSION & REMOVAL

A. BoC reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose behavior is deemed disruptive, inappropriate, or contrary to the safety and professional standards of the Event.

B. Certain areas of the venue may be restricted to specific ticket holders. BoC reserves the right to limit access to designated areas, and all attendees must follow staff instructions and venue signage at all times. BoC may remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

3. EVENT CHANGES

A. We may modify, reschedule, or cancel the Event or your ticket at our discretion due to weather, safety, or business needs. In the event of a cancellation, your remedy will be strictly limited to a refund or event credit. Neither our partners nor we are liable for travel, lodging, or related costs.

B. Tickets are non-refundable unless the Event is canceled without being rescheduled. Any other refunds are granted solely at BoC’s discretion.

4. PHOTOGRAPHY, MEDIA CONSENT, AI & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

A. You are strictly prohibited from photographing, filming, audio-recording, or livestreaming event sessions and presentations for commercial purposes, or in a disruptive manner, without prior written approval from BoC. Unauthorized recordings must cease immediately upon request from Event staff.

By attending the Event, you consent to:

B. BoC, its appointed photographers, videographers, and authorized partners to film, photograph, and record the Event for operational, marketing, promotional, editorial, educational, and archival purposes across all media formats;

a. The use of your voice, image, and likeness, in connection with the Event, in all media by BoC, its affiliates, sponsors, and designees without compensation. You hereby waive and release BoC from any claims arising from the use of such media, including any right to inspect or approve recordings, as well as claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or copyright infringement; and

b. Event audio and video recordings may be processed using secure, AI-assisted technologies (such as transcription, captioning, and content summaries). All personal data used for AI processing is managed securely via compliant sub-processors and will not be used to train public AI models.

C. All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, including presentations, materials, and related content, are the sole property of BoC or its third-party providers. All BoC trademarks, trade names, and logos may not be used or reproduced without prior written permission from BoC.

5. DELEGATE DIRECTORY & OPT-OUT

BoC processes your professional details (name, job title, organization, and country) to create an attendee directory shared with registered delegates and official event partners to support business networking. Personal contact details (such as email addresses or phone numbers) are not included. Inclusion in the directory is based on our legitimate interest in facilitating B2B networking. You have the right to object to this processing at any time. You can opt out during registration or by emailing privacy@businessofcreativity.com by the 25th of October, 2026. For any requests after this date, BoC will make reasonable endeavors to remove you from the distribution list; failure to do so shall not be construed as a breach or misuse of your personal information.

6. CODE OF CONDUCT & ENFORCEMENT

A. Behavior & Anti-Harassment: All participants, staff, and vendors must maintain a professional and respectful atmosphere. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, disruption, unwanted physical contact, or harassment based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, age, or any protected class. Threats, sexual advances, obscene content, or virtual disruptions are strictly prohibited.

B. Communication Boundaries: Contacting staff or vendors outside official business channels—including reaching out on their personal social media accounts—without prior consent is prohibited.

C. Responsible Drinking: Attendees must drink responsibly, comply with all venue rules, and never furnish alcohol to anyone under legal drinking age.

D. Violations & Expulsion: BoC reserves the right to immediately eject any violator and ban them from future events without a refund.

7. PARTNER BADGE SCANNING

If there is an option to scan badges, you may choose whether to allow official partners or exhibitors to scan your Event badge. Badge scanning is entirely voluntary and serves as affirmative consent to transfer your corporate contact information to the scanning partner.

8. DATA PRIVACY & COMPLIANCE

Personal data is collected and processed by BoC in full compliance with UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018). Data processing operates under valid legal grounds, including performance of a contract, legitimate commercial interest, and consent.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, PERSONAL BELONGINGS, & FOOD SAFETY

A. Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF BOC FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR TICKET PURCHASE, REGISTRATION, OR ATTENDANCE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL PRICE PAID FOR YOUR TICKET. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, TRAVEL, HOTEL, OR ACCOMMODATION EXPENSES—EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE EVENT IS CANCELED OR RESCHEDULED.

B. Personal Belongings: BoC and its partners and sponsors are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. You are solely responsible for the safety and security of your own property at all times.

C. Dietary Requirements & Food Allergies: While food and beverages may be provided at the Event, BoC cannot guarantee accommodation for specific dietary choices, lifestyle preferences (e.g., vegan), or food intolerances. Attendees are solely responsible for inspecting ingredients and managing their own dietary needs. BoC assumes no liability for allergic reactions or health issues arising from food or drink consumed. You release BoC for all claims and liabilities arising from any food or beverage you consume.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

BoC will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations if caused by events beyond its reasonable control—including acts of God, extreme weather, strikes, government restrictions, national emergencies, public health crises, or venue power and utility failures. If the Event is canceled or postponed due to Force Majeure, tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date, or an event credit voucher will be issued. No refunds will be issued.

11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its rules on conflict of laws or any other rules that would result in the application of a different body of law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
